OSLC Fall Festival
The Fall Carnival is coming, and we need your help to make it successful! We are looking for volunteers in middle or high school and adults. Serve with a parent or friends or by yourself! The goal of the Fall Carnival is to connect with people in our community and develop disciple-making relationships. This year the Fall Carnival will be 3pm-5pm on Saturday, October 30.
Volunteers: Please arrive by 2:15pm. Child-appropriate costumes are welcome for volunteers! If you do not have a costume, we ask that you wear an orange OSLC Kids t-shirt. Ask Dereem or Angela if you need one, or email [email protected]
Please sign up to help with one of the following teams!
Set-up - Help us decorate and set up for the Carnival anytime on Friday, October 29 between 5pm-9pm. We will provide a pizza dinner for our Friday volunteers.
Game Booth Leaders - Your room has a few different carnival games that you will need to learn when you arrive. Your job is to love people, run the games, and give 1-2 pieces of candy to each participant. Please note if you are designated the Room Lead: this means you have the added responsibility of ensuring everyone in your room gets a 15 minute break during the event.
Team Coaches - You help our game booth leaders by refilling candy and checking in on them throughout the event. You are the first line of problem solving for our game booth leaders.
Cookie Walk - You play music and give away cookies. People love you!
Glow Room - You watch over this room where people use highlighters to write all over the butcher paper covered walls and floor.
Box Maze - You help kids get through the maze and make sure they don't get too lost.
Welcome Team - You're friendly and make people feel like they belong.
Behind the Scenes - You're a ninja that helps wherever needed at the drop of a hat.
We are asking congregation members to donate candy and money for the snacks. This will help us be better planned and organized. Thank you for your help!
Thanks for volunteering!
