Calling all Dads and Special Men of the CLE Kiddos. We will be hosting a Special Project Day in which the students will be able to work with the Men of the Chapel Lakes Community to set a great example for our children and show them men are also volunteers. This semester the 3-5 graders will help with projects, and next semester the K-2 graders will have their turn. This event will take place on Friday, September 13th.
We have been working with Mrs. White and Mr. Don in order to come up with the project list and to make sure the project day will be a fun and organized event for all.
We plan to work on a variety of projects in the courtyard with the goal of improving the aesthetics & functionality of it for our kiddos. Moving raised beds and planting them, repairing and painting a bridge, building picnic tables, and pulling weeds are some of tasks that we hope to accomplish with this semester's project day.
The 3rd through 5th grader children will be helping with these projects during their specials time. We need volunteers to sign up to help, as well as donations for the supplies that we'll use to complete these projects.
Please sign up below for a shift and/or to help donate with the supplies. We'll be purchasing our supplies through Amazon and Lowes. You can donate a few different ways AND for more than one slot.
- You can donate directly to the CLE Courtyard Project Day Pool on Paypal
- You donate to our personal Venmo account (We weren't able to set up a "pool" through Venmo).
- You can purchase an Amazon or Lowes gift card and leave at the office for Jeremy Bennett.
- You can volunteer to bring tools to complete these projects, there is a slot to sign up to bring tools & list what you can bring.
