National Day of Penance
January 22, 2021
On this day, commemorating the anniversary of the 1973 Supreme Court ruling Roe vs. Wade, legalizing abortion in our country, we pause to remember the more than 60 million innocent lives which have been lost to abortion. We pray for the healing of the women and men affected by that decision. We also pray for the end of abortion and the conversion of all of those who are pro-choice.
On Friday, January 22, there will be Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament following 8:30 Mass ending with Holy Hour and Benediction with a reflection by Fr. Simon Peter from 7:00 p.m - 8:00 p.m. With Exposition, there must be a minimum of 2 adorers for each hour. If you sign up and plans change, please get a substitute if at all possible.
