Greetings, WSHS Parents!
Each year WSHS Partners In Education plan and host Graduation Lock-In, formerly known as Project Graduation. This event helps ensure the safety of our Seniors on the night of their graduation by providing a fully supervised, alcohol and drug-free way for them to celebrate this important milestone in their lives with their friends. The event will take place Monday, May 20 at Incredible Pizza Company (IPC) from 11:00 pm - 6:00 am. This is a lock-in, meaning no Seniors admitted will be able to leave the facility until 6:00 am.
GRADUATION LOCK-IN TICKETS. Tickets can be purchased for the event here via PayPal. The cost is $45. When you make your payment to buy a ticket, please include "Event Ticket" and your graduating senior's name in the PayPal note. Also, please print and sign the Emergency form (attached in this sign up) and return it to the main office. Alternatively, you can send $45 cash or check payable to "WSHS PIE" along with a signed form in a sealed envelope marked "Graduation Lock-In Ticket" to the main office PIE mailbox. FINAL TICKET SALE DATES: Tuesday, May 14 and Wednesday, May 15.
GENERAL DONATIONS. If you would like to make a PayPal donation in lieu of any of the donation categories below, click here to go to Paypal. Please indicate "Graduation LockIn General Donation" in the PayPal note, and we will apply it toward the needs herein.
DOOR PRIZE DONATIONS. We give away door prizes throughout the night. Provided below is a list of some items we are asking to be donated. There are so many ways for parents of all grades to help out by making or soliciting donations for the event. Attached to this sign up is a Corporate Donation Letter for your use when asking companies for donations for this event. If you own, work for, or have connections with a business that would like to donate door prizes, please email Michele Keegin at [email protected] DOOR PRIZE DEADLINE: Friday, May 17.
FOOD DONATIONS. In addition to the pizzas and cinnamon rolls provided by IPC, we will serve other food throughout the night. A list of food donations we need is provided below. All food and drink donations (unless otherwise indicated) should be dropped of Monday, May 20 at WSHS main office 7:00am-8:00am. If you are unable to drop off food items at the designated time, please email [email protected] to make arrangements.
CHAPERONES/VOLUNTEERS. We need volunteers to help set up and chaperones throughout the night. There are 2 shifts available at various stations. Please sign up below for the time slot and station that work best for you.
Graduation Lock-In is sponsored by WSHS Partners In Education (PIE), a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible. We hope you will consider making a donation to this great event. Your sponsorship will be acknowledged in the Graduation Lock-In and PIE FaceBook pages, the PIE website, and a personalized thank you letter from the Graduation Lock-In PIE Committee.
