EMERGENCY PLAN: For time-sensitive, serious emergencies, call 9-1-1. For other issues, notify your area lead (or someone else with a radio). As a backup plan, send someone to the "FESTIVAL INFO" tent.
SIGN ME UP: Below is a list of volunteer roles with a "sign up" box beside those that are still open. Sign Up Genius will confirm your assignment immediately when you successfully submit a request. Having issues? Don't stress! Contact Kat.
See attached PDF for a detailed description of roles and other info.
ALCOHOL RULES & EVENT CERTIFICATIONS: By volunteering, you agree to read and abide by all alcohol laws and event rules in addition to following supervisor directives. If you are unsure of any rules, please ask your area lead.
Aspiring alcohol pourers and ID checkers/wristbanders are required have a RASP certificate on file with LAAF. Click here to start the training, and email your certificate to [email protected].
Crowd Manager certification is encouraged, but not required. Click here to begin the training, which covers fire and evacuation safety. LAAF needs a certain number of crowd managers per event, so please consider completing this. Crowd managers can still volunteer for any role, but they are expected to spring to action in an emergency, helping to keep the crowd calm and direct people away from the emergency.
See attached PDF for further instruction on completing RASP or Crowd Manager certifications.
ARRIVING ON SITE: Unless otherwise noted, report to the "FESTIVAL INFO" Tent at the intersection of North Lexington Avenue & Hiawassee Street 10 minutes before your shift begins. See you at LAAF!
