Wilderness First Aid (WFA) is a training course that prepares participants to identify and address medical issues that can arise in the backcountry.
WFA is offered to adult leaders and youth 14 years of age and older.
All BSA high-adventure bases require at least one WFA trained adult per trek. Of course, having more participants trained in WFA skills is highly recommended for any high adventure or backcountry experience. In the event one of your adults is injured or unable to complete the experience it would be imperative more adults are trained.
$60 per participant is due at the event (cash or check only).
Lunch is not provided, bring a lunch or be prepared to have something delivered.
