Dallas Holocaust Museum

Anne Frank House Virtual Reality

The special exhibition, Let Me Be Myself: The Life Story of Anne Frank, at the Dallas Holocaust Museum will feature the United States premiere of a Virtual Reality component that allows the visitor to travel back in time to Anne Frank's hiding place, the "Secret Annex." Using cutting-edge interactive technology, the Anne Frank House commissioned this Virtual Reality component with Force Field VR and Oculus Studios. In a one-of-a-kind experience, visitors will be drawn into the world in which Anne Frank lived - in the shadows of genocide and war.

Visitors can sign up for a 15 minute session (5 minute introduction + 10 minute Virtual Reality touring). The experience is open daily between 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. Admission to the Museum is required to participate in the experience.

Visitors must be age 13+ to participate. Visitors cannot be pregnant, elderly, have pre-existing binocular vision abnormalities or psychiatric disorders, or suffer from a heart condition or other serious medical conditions. Virtual reality is an immersive experience that can be intense. Frightening or anxiety provoking content can cause your body to react as if it were real.
