Weekly Waterers
Thank you for volunteering to be a weekly waterer at a Young Gardeners Program (YGP) school garden!
Weekly waterers are essential for garden health and success. Consistent and thorough watering is the cornerstone of a healthy and productive garden. Garden plants require water to germinate & grow, perform photosynthesis and transport nutrients from the soil to all parts of the plant.
The best time to water is early in the morning but watering in the evening can be beneficial as well.
