Beloved Art and Practice presents...
You are invited for a fun afternoon for all ages, as we creatively explore the question: “What does it mean to be church together?” Together, we will pray and create visual expressions on 12x12 canvas. These beautiful pieces of work will then be collected and displayed as part of a special Art Exhibit and Celebration at our next Synod Assembly!
All supplies are provided. A variety of creative tools (paints, glue, googly eyes, etc.) will be available to use. Also, feel free to bring your own creative supplies if you feel so inspired. For example, if you are a quilter or knitter, bring scraps of cloth and extra yarn!
Everyone is welcome. Come as an individual or with a group. You do not need to consider yourself an artist to participate.
*As a note: This is a Beloved Art and Practice Event Series led by Sister Michelle Walka and is part of a grant funded endeavor through partnership with the Deaconess Community of the ELCA/ELCIC and EaND Synod. We will be hosting this event in several locations. Keep an eye out for more times/locations to come.*
