We need volunteers for a day of science fun!
COSI ON WHEELS is January 22 and 23-see class schedule below (in signup list).
The theme this year is Uncovering the Universe!
Volunteering requires no science background.
Please consider volunteering with your child’s class (full AM or PM shift) or help us for the whole day and have lunch provided by the PTG. (We are hoping to be able to offer lunch to anyone interested!)
The students LOVE this event and it requires MANY volunteers.
Please contact [email protected], Jaclyn Ziders ([email protected]), Nick Harp ([email protected]), or Caitlin Kabbara ([email protected]) with questions.
A fifteen minute orientation is included at the beginning of each session. You don't want to miss this, because you will understand the stations better and have more fun if you do!
There is an assembly both mornings from 9:15 to 10:00 for all of our students, feel free to join if you are volunteering! This assembly is included in the morning sessions. The orientation at 8:55 is highly, highly recommended, so please come at 8:55, and then relax and enjoy COSI's wonderful presentation. There are orientation sessions at the beginning of the afternoon sessions as well.
The Wednesday morning orientation at 8:15 will provide an indepth explanation of all of the concepts. If you are new to COSI on wheels or will feel more comfortable with some extra education, please consider attending this session. If there is interest we can schedule one Thursday morning also. COSI really prefers to do the orientation this way. Please let me know, text, Nick Harp 330-604-1148.
