Dear Community members,
AHA, in partnership with Art of Living, is proud to announce 8-week Yoga sessions at the Hindu Temple and Cultural Center of Wisconsin. Each week, classes will be held on Sundays at 8:15 am. These 60-minute Yoga classes are designed to regulate effects of stress on the body through Asanas (postures) and breathing techniques (Pranayama) to calm the nerves sprinkled with meditation, to clear the mind. Although the sessions run on an 8-week schedule, they can be attended independently and hence allows for flexibility.
All levels of practitioners are welcome to attend. Limited seats available, so please register now!
Primary Instructor: Prajkta Date
Prajkta Date, a Masters in Computer Applications is currently a volunteer with the Art of Living Foundation. She teaches their signature program – “The Happiness Program” and offers a variety of yoga and meditation-related classes around the Madison area since 2011. Prajkta has taken her deep-rooted passion in the workings of the mind and converted it into programs to help combat stress in different forms, in our everyday life. She has completed her RYT 200 Yoga teacher training. The yoga offered by the Art of Living Foundation comes from a long lineage to provide a depth and breadth of authentic yoga teachings and practices.
1) Individual per session $10 or $75 for 8 sessions
2) Family: $ 8 per person per session or $55 per person for 8 sessions
Note: AHA receives 50% of the above proceeds to cover the cost of operations and facilities and the rest goes to the Art of Living Foundation. AHA will provide 20% discount to Dollar-a-Day(DAD) sponsors on its proceeds from individual sessions payments, i.e., $1 discount on per individual session or $7 discount on the individual 8-week package.
