St. Paul Lutheran Church
St. Paul Lutheran is scheduled to bring a nutritious dinner meal to the St. Francis Brother Shelter on the 2nd Tuesday of each month. Bring your already prepared/hot item(s) to the shelter between 6:00 - 7:30 p.m. Dinner is served at the shelter around 8:00 p.m. Take your food to the back of the building, the door to the kitchen is inside the gated area.
Please use this sign up to let us know you are able to help prepare a meal for about 35 people experiencing homelessness. Bless you and thank you for helping.
- Pasta, salad, garlic bread
- Meat, starch and vegetable
- Sloppy joes, mac and cheese, vegetable
- Soups, salads, bread
- Breakfast for dinner
- Hot dogs or burgers and fixings
- Your own ideas will be perfect
- Rolls and desserts (optional)
When signing up, the person who signs up for the Main Dish will serve as the LEAD for that meal. LEAD, invite your friends and/or your church family to join you in making the meal great! Questions for a specific meal/date should go to the LEAD.
Make it Fun:
You can use the kitchen in Springhill Hall to prepare the meal. Please be sure to check with Jennifer in the office to confirm the kitchen is available and to reserve it for your use. Gather together with friends, make a meal for the shelter, make extra for you and your friends to enjoy, bring a bottle of wine to share, and enjoy time in fellowship as you prepare a great meal to bless others.
