This is a sign-up system for weekday masses Tuesday through Friday, and weekend masses for Saturday and Sunday for the Ss. Peter & Paul / St. Thomas the Apostle Parish Cluster. Using guidelines from our Archdiocese, we have set this up for reserving seats at each mass. It is recommended that those vulnerable to this virus, age 65 and older, consider not attending if they feel they are at risk, but we leave that up to your discretion. Anyone who is not feeling well should not attend. All are encouraged to wear a mask. If you are not comfortable attending mass, please remember that we are still offering sign-ups for Communion on a separate Signup Genius.
Since Ss. Peter & Paul has Adoration in church Tuesdays through Fridays along with weekday Confessions, St. Thomas will be hosting the weekday masses. The masses are scheduled for 9:00 AM to allow time for Fr. Jenson to expose the Blessed Sacrament at 8:00 AM each day at Ss. Peter & Paul and offer Confessions there for the first 1/2 hour. This whole set-up is temporary until things get back to normal.
Beginning next weekend May 30/31, we will add back a Saturday evening mass. Currently we have mass only on Sunday at 10:00AM. Now we will have a mass at 4:30PM at the church which will not have the Sunday morning mass which is live-streamed. The Saturday mass time will remain at 4:30PM regardless of which of our churches it is held at.
When reserving your pew at a mass, please make a note of the spot you have reserved for you or your family (i.e., Row 4, Left side; Row 10, Right side) so that when you arrive at church, you will know where to sit. The pews will be labeled. There is no longer a need for 1 person to a pew - you may sign up your whole family under one name. Please indicate the number of family members that will be under your reservation in the comments section.
Because we are in need of a Sacristan and Lector at each weekday mass, the 1st pews on the left and right will be reserved for them and their families. If you are a Lector or a Sacristan, please sign up in one of those 2 places. (If you would like to become a Sacristan or Lector, please contact Sherry in the Parish Office.)
If you know of someone who does not have internet and would like to sign up for a mass, please have them contact Sherry in the Parish Office and she will get them scheduled—763-479-0535.
