BAA/BedFest

Join us for our 2nd Annual BedFest.  We will be building beds - but also have some activities for your family.  Food Trucks will be there serving lunch.  Construction equipment will be there for Touch-a-Truck.  We will also have various mascots from local teams on hand.

We have room for/need for up to 50 volunteers based on the work that needs to be done to build beds.  There are several stations, and we can teach you how to work each station.  Children 12-17 are welcomed.  Kids 12-15 must have direct parental supervision. Older teens 16 and 17 can work on their own with parents permission.

We need people to measure wood, operate a chop saw, sand, mark pieces, assemble head/foot boards, and brand the beds (with a branding iron!).

We will build from 9:00 AM - Noon, and from Noon until 1:00 PM we will clean up and pack up the tools and materials.  We really need people to stay for the clean up.  We will have a list of things that need to be done, and a cleanup director.
