What does this opportunity entail?
Upon arrival on site, we would present you with a list of about 10-15 households to deliver to in Albany. Lists, on average, take approximately 2.5 hours to complete. Lists do tend to go more quickly if you have 2 individuals in the same vehicle (one to drive & one to drop).
You will pull up to our 'loading area' and we will bring the necessary number of bags to your vehicle in order for you to complete the delivery route. (Usually, one household will get around 5 bags of food). The food is often dairy & produce. The quantity of food issued usually fills the back seat and trunk of the average sedan.
Once loaded, you will be sent with your list to make deliveries. We ask you call the community members when you are on your way. We ask for 'no contact delivery'. This means you are only responsible for placing the food at their door and knocking. You may exit to your vehicle after you knock. You do not need to wait/hand the delivery directly to the individual.
