Family Mitzvah Day

Dear SHACHARIT Families,

We are so excited for our first SHACHARIT Family Mitzvah Day which is scheduled for Sunday, January 13th. We’ll kick the day off with a spirited T’filah and then head off to our Mitzvah projects. For us to organize our project work and prepare materials, we are asking families to pre-register for the project they would like to participate in. Some projects will take place at the Temple Shalom building while others will take place out in the community. We ask that you read through each project, noting the task, the timing and the location and then choose the one that will work best for your family.

Each project has a limited number of spots, so we recommend that you sign-up as soon as possible so that we can accommodate your requests. This is a Family Day. If you are unable to attend with your child, please let us know so that we can pair your child with another adult in the community.

We will hold Small Group Hebrew and Taste Of Camp following Family Mitzvah Day. Here is a link to FAQ’s about SHACHARIT Family Mitzvah Day. If you have additional questions, please do not hesitate to be in touch with Kim Bodemer, [email protected].

Below we have attached a list of items being collected in preparation for Family Mitzvah Day.
