This year we are continuing our ministry of providing assistance to the Bailey’s Crossroads Hypothermia Program. We have volunteered to provide meals for the week of February 7-13.
Items should be delivered to the St. Barnabas' parking lot (where Cindy McLaughlin will meet you) hot, ready to serve, and in disposable containers, by 5:30 p.m.
We are also asking the congregation to assist with providing breakfast/snack bags. Paper bags, water bottles, and snack bars will be provided to the volunteers ahead of time. (Please arrange with Cindy, or the Parish Office, a time to pick them up.) Please fill each bag with one of the provided water bottles and a snack bar, plus a piece of fruit. Decorations or messages of hope are welcome - this is a good task for any young ones helping you! Bags should be delivered to the church no later than 5:00 p.m.
This year, volunteers are not needed to help serve the food or clean-up.
Thank you in advance for all your help to assist this important ministry.
If you have any questions, feel free to contact Cindy McLaughlin or James Carroll.
