Devo Race 1 Jan 28, 2023 - plus race prep

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for the Snowbasin ski team.  Each position is an ALL DAY job and will qualify as 10 Work Deposit Credits or 1 Ticket Voucher to ski at Snowbasin another day (Good for the remainder of the 2022-23 season or for 2023-24)

B-Net Set-Up Crew (12)

Unroll, drill, position, place B-net down the hill. All day, part day, old hat, newbie. Come one, come all.

 
12:30pm - 4:00pm  

Race Set-Up Prep (4)

Place Start Blocks, Wiring, Equip Delivery, Wiring Placement. Skiing Required. 4 WD Credits

 
Union Grille  5:00pm  

Pick up Lunches @ Union Grille 5pm

Deliver to Race HQ @ SBN the next day by 7am

 
01/28/2023 (Sat.) Snowbasin Resort - 7-10am & end of race approx 2-4pm  7:00am - 10:00am  

Chief Volunteer Coordinator

Responsible for Filling all Volunteer spots. Maintaining Vol Assignment Board. Checking Volunteer Credentials. Supervising Check-in Crew. Disbursing & Tracking Volunteer Lift Tickets

 
Snowbasin Resort  7:00am - 4:00pm  

Volunteer Check in / Check out (4)

Staff all day. Meet, Greet, Answer questions, Keep things tidy. Solve Problems

 

Finish Area Set Up/Take Down (5)

Non skiing. 7:00-8:30am & when race done for the day TBD

 

Course Crew & Course Slipper (5)

Use rakes/shovels providing course maintenance. Slip course during & between races. Strong Skier required

 
7:30am - 4:00pm  

Start Referee

Must have USS&S Certification

 

Finish Ref

Must have USS&S Certification

 

Start Line Up

Assist athletes at the top of the course with the line up. Must be able to ski to race start

 

Finish Hand Timer

Sit at the bottom and record the time of day each athlete crosses the finish line.

Finish Controller

Assists Finish Referee. Manages location of visiting parents. Keeps bnet free of personal gear. Controls the Finish Area

SBN Patrol Staff Assigned to Race - WD Credit for SSEF Athlete

Chief of Medical Services for entire event

The Chief of Medical and Rescue Services is responsible for organizing adequate first aid and medical coverage during the official training periods and the actual competition. The Chief of Medical must work closely with the Jury and particularly the TD
