Winter Ice Village
THANK YOU for volunteering to help out at the Winter Ice Village!
This fun skating activity in downtown Port Angeles is possible because of people like you, who are willing to pitch in and support it.
To show our appreciation, each volunteer shift you sign up for will earn you one free skate ticket.
IT IS EXTREMELY IMPORTANT THAT YOU SHOW UP FOR THE SHIFT YOU COMMIT TO, and if you can't make it please delete your signup at least 48 hours prior so that someone else can take your place. Every one of these positions is critical to making the Winter Ice Village function and we can't operate without them. A reminder will be emailed to you, or txted to the mobile phone number you provide, so PLEASE PROVIDE A MOBILE PHONE NUMBER that can be used to reach you.
As such, please opt in to receiving a text message reminder to your phone number. To do this, you must choose the option to receive texts from your account settings. To do this, look to the upper right of your account page--you will see your profile pic or initials. Click that option and you will then be able to choose the Settings options. From Settings, go to the Notifications tab. Scroll to the end of the page and you will see the options to check to receive email reminders, text reminders or both. You can also enter your preferred notification time. These txt messages are sent individually and other volunteers will not see eachothers' phone numbers.
Please review the following job descriptions before signing up to volunteer:
