Even if you can't do the ride you can still be a part of this incredible event. We need lots of help staffing aid stations, registering cyclists, helping with the food and drink after the ride, and joining our cheering squad at the top. If you have a partner or group that you'd like to work with please mention it in the comments.
Ride Check-in: Staff the Check in table inside the Port Angeles Visitors Center on the Friday and Saturday before the ride. Check cyclists off the list and hand out ride packets and jerseys ahead of time to avoid a line on ride day. Involves simply checking names off the list and handing out ride packets.
Aid Station Staffing: Staff an aid station along the route with water and snacks. This will involve driving to your aid station location and setting up a small table and possibly a canopy, with snacks, water, First Aid kit, and a bike pump, all of which we'll provide ahead of time. Your vehicle must be capable of carrying a 4-6 foot plastic table and a canopy. You can bring your own chairs or we'll provide them for you. If you'd like, you can bring a speaker and play music, dress up in a costume or a decade to match the music you play. This is a VERY fun job. On the very slim chance that it might rain, or your spot is in the sun, we'll provide a canopy for you. This is an especially fun job to do with a friend!
After-Ride Gathering: This year we'll have music, food, and local craft beer at the end of the route on city pier. We'll need help setting up the after party, and then handing out food and drink as the cyclists return.
