Meals on Wheels - Delivery

We invite you to come and deliver meals to our homebound seniors!

***If it is your first time driving with us, please complete our policies & procedures form before you sign up for a route!***

Here is what you need to know:

1. Drivers must be at least 18. We provide the coolers and google maps directions, but a using GPS is highly recommended.
2. Meal pickup is 10:15-10:30am at the Evelyn Rubenstein Jewish Community Center (5601 S Braeswood Blvd). Enter & exit the parking lot on Atwell St. 
3. Park and enter through the main lobby entrance. Tell them you are here for Meals on Wheels, and they will direct you to our Packing Room on the ground floor to pick up your meals. 
4. Client names and address will be provided at the time of meal pickup along with any special instructions. Be sure to check the whiteboard for announcements! 
5. Hot meals are packed in a black bag and the cold items are bagged separately in a cooler. We recommend counting to make sure you have everything you need!
6. Deliveries take 1-2 hours. Once you complete them, please bring the bag/cooler back to the J. 

PLEASE ONLY SIGN UP THE NUMBER OF DRIVERS IN YOUR GROUP (OR THE NUMBER OF CARS YOU WILL BE USING TO DELIVER). Each driver/car will be delivering meals to 10-15 seniors.
