This Sign-up Genius (SUG) is for our on-going and current needs (but does not include the monthly Events that are held on Saturdays at the Worldgate site. Requests for volunteers for Events are sent out under a separate SUG).

Liaison - Direct Support to SBIM Family (30)

Build relationship by delivering food/activities twice a month to an assigned family in need. SBIM will contact you with further details about the program.

Come to our site to pack food, stock pantry, work on activities etc...13019 Worldgate Drive Herndon Va 20170, 10:00-1:00. You will be contacted and sent the rotation schedule via separate Sign up Genius.

Be a part of a team that picks up donations from Fox Mill Giant and delivers to SBIM Worldgate site (9:30-10:30). There will be a separate SUG to track this.

Cornerstones Pick-up Donations (Weds) (5)

Pick up dry/canned food donations in Reston and deliver to SBIM Worldgate site (pickups are on Weds, every other week but you would work on a rotating schedule w/other volunteers). Team lead will contact you to coordinate.

Help with monthly food distribution events at Floris UMC (typically 2nd Fri of month with various slots between 11:00-3:30). You will be added to volunteer list and will receive separate SUG for Pop-up Events.

Monday Group w/Kids at Worldgate Site (12)

Come from 3:45-5:15 for our Mon Group. We are in need of male role models to assist as we have a number of boys in the group. Women are welcome, of course. If we get enough volunteers, we can set-up a schedule for alternating months.
