We invite you to join us for worship in the Sanctuary or outside during the summer months. Please note the planned location on the sign-ups below. If there is inclement weather on a Sunday scheduled for outside, the service will be held in the Sanctuary.
The health and safety of our members is our top priority so we are taking precautions per the CDC and the State of CT, keeping in mind considerations unique to RHCC. We look forward to welcoming you to in-person worship but wish to remind you that there are inherent risks in attending public worship during this pandemic. We ask for your cooperation with all of the following directives that have been put in place for your safety and the safety of our clergy and your fellow worshipers.
• We will continue posting the virtual service online for those who cannot or choose not to attend an in-person service. We'd also love to have you join our Virtual Coffee Hour every Sunday at 11:00 a.m. Links for both can be found on our website.
Please review the following guidelines in preparation for attending any in-person service.
• Pre-Registration: You must pre-register to attend all services in the Sanctuary and outside the Church. Worship attendance is currently limited to 60 people. You can pre-register on the form below or call the Church Office at 203-869-1091.
• Planning Ahead:
The State of CT and the CDC no longer require masks for Vaccinated people who are physically distanced. Unvaccinated people are required to wear a mask. Please do what makes you most comfortable.
Please arrive 15 minutes before the service begins, so an Usher can help you choose a seat.
The floors are marked w/ directional tape at 6-foot distances. Please remain physically distanced from other parishioners during the time you are on campus.
Bathroom occupancy is one person at a time. This will increase the time it takes to use the bathroom.
We have touchless hand sanitizer dispensers throughout the building. The CDC encourages their continued use.
If you test positive for COVID-19 and have attended a service, please call the Office immediately, so we can notify others who were at the service. We will not share your name with anyone.
COVID-19 is a serious and highly communicable disease. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, senior citizens and individuals with underlying medical conditions are especially vulnerable. An inherent risk of exposure to COVID-19 exists in any public place where groups of people are present. Although RHCC is taking all possible precautions to ensure a safe and sanitary place to gather for worship and asking all attendees to observe certain precautions, there remains no assurance of protection from exposure to COVID-19 while at RHCC worship services. The risk of exposure to COVID-19 is voluntarily assumed by all attendees.
By submitting my registration to attend in-person worship, I hereby agree to adhere to all of the above guidelines and release RHCC from any and all liability after having read the "Informed Consent" above.
