Welcome to the NYLT Staff Interview sign up site. Please read all of the following information before signing up.
Golden Empire Council NYLT Youth Staff Interview Day will be on Saturday January 19, 2019 from 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm, at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 1101 51st Street, Sacramento, CA 95819.
To assist with the scheduling of interviewers, please fill the later time slots first.
Interview slots will be no more than 30 minutes in length and will be filmed (for future reference by Course Directors). A video release will be available at the interview for parental signature.
The session will start off with a 5-7 minute presentation by the candidate on any topic they are passionate about. We suggest your bring props, diagrams, or handouts that will help you share your topic. The presentation will be followed by a 10 minute session where panelists will ask the candidate interview questions. The session will finish with a chance for the candidate to ask questions of the panelists about NYLT Staffing expectations, requirements, etc. and a brief word with the candidate's parent(s)/guardians.
Once you sign up for an interview slot you will need to arrive 30 minutes prior to your interview.
Please bring a completed NYLT Staff Application. The Scoutmaster recommendation is not required for the interview, however it will need to be completed if the candidate is invited to staff a course. Please do include the Scoutmaster/Leader contact information.
You may sign up for any available time slot, even if it is not for your preferred course or the course for which you were invited to interview. Your video will be shared with the course staff from your preferred course(s).
Please arrive in full field uniform.
