While similar to our pre-Covid volunteer opportunities, there are marked differences in this opportunity than our previous structure so please read the volunteer description in its entirety before signing up.
Join us Tuesday afternoons from 5-7pm in June and July at our ARCH housing site to spend time with kiddos! This site is home to Bridge to Home, emergency shelter, and partner agency housing - a true cross section of housing support. Your volunteer time gives kids a chance to get outside, play, and learn together while parents can get some much needed rest/time to themselves. Especially now, after a year of uncertainty, your involvement to partner with parents enriching their child's experience is incredibly impactful.
Also, for the first time, we will be offering lead volunteer positions with limited availability! These positions have the opporutnity to faciliate engagement, connect with kids on a more regular basis, and gain community based experience. If interested, please email [email protected] to apply.
For all volunteer slots, please read details below before signing up and we look forward to working with you!
> Masks are required during your volunteer event as you'll be in contact with children. All relevant CDC guidelines for gatherings will pertain and will be posted.
> Volunteer leads will help set up the space in the parking lot with books, art supplies, mats for children to sit, outdoor games, and buckets of age-appropriate activities.
> This is exclusively an outdoor opportunity and subject to change based on weather.
> Please sign up at least for 4 consecutive sessions to provide consistency for the children. (For example, every Tuesday in one month)
Once you've signed up, please fill out our confidentiality paperwork and volunteer agreement (this only needs to be filled out once).
Thanks so much!
