Davis Bike Club

2019 Double Century Volunteering, May 18

THIS IS THE 50TH ANNIVERSARY OF THE DAVIS DOUBLE CENTURY!

It takes approximately 200 volunteers to put on what the California Triple Crown indicates is the most popular double century in California. And to ensure the financial success of the ride, the Davis Double now offers alternate shorter routes for those still working up to the challenge of a double century, as are most other double century rides. Net receipts allow the DBC to contrubite to cycling groups and many philanthropic causes in our area, such as the victims of the Paradise Fire. Hundred of cyclists depend upon you, the volunteers to support them as they are challenged physically and mentally to complete their cycling goals. Thank you on behalf of the Davis Double Organizing Team for your help in making this years event a great success.
