One of my favorite days of the week is Sunday. That’s true because I get to hang out with the people that make Bridgetown Kids so much fun…the KIDS. As you know, for the next few Sundays, BCC will be offering online services only. That’s a great alternative to in-person, live services. Of course, there is still the personal connection that can be missing.
So, for the next few weeks I would love to personally connect with your kids. During the week, I’m making myself available to hang out for a little bit with your kids. This can be either in-person or digital.
As we all huddle in our houses, we can get isolated from people. Let’s stay safe, but not let the Coronavirus keep us from connecting. Choose a time slot & let's hang out!
For a digital visit, we can use FaceTime, Facebook Messenger, or Skype to video chat. For FaceTime you will need an Apple device. For Facebook Messenger, we will need to be friends. YAY! For Skype, you need the Skype app, but DO NOT need a Skype account. During a video chat kids can show me around their house & show me their room & some of their toys. We can even play a card (we’ll figure out a way) or play another games together.
For an in-person visit, I will stop by your house (when you or another adult is home) and play a video game, card game, or board game with your kid(s). We can also play Legos or they can give me a tour of the house. We can even watch an episode of their favorite TV show if they want. The point is…they get to choose!
Before, during & after the visit, appropriate precautions will be taken. I will wash my hands & take my temperature & will also come with a bottle of hand sanitizer. We’ll limit proximity, but still have fun.
