Family Promise 2022

July 3 - July 17

     Here is an update (in bold) for Congregation B'Nai Torah, Dunwoody Community Church and Mount Vernon Presbyterian members and valued volunteers.  Good news - Attalon (and her family) have graduated with housing and employment!  We are looking forward to welcoming Geneva back but her seven-year-old son Liam will be staying with a relative during our hosting period; Angela and her one-year-old, Benjamin will be with us for the first time; Titaraya (Mom), Michael (Son) Age 16 and Jaqual (Son) Age 17 have just been invited into the Program and will be staying with us as well.   Meal time quantities are being adjusted to reflect our increased participation and the potential for additional volunteers from 6 to 9. 

      We look forwarad to volunteers and families being able to interact, as before the 'shut-down', with masks being optional.  Meals will be served and enjoyed in the common room and food can once again be delivered to the kitchen.  Couples may sign up for Dinner and Overnight Hosts slots and once we determine the ages of all the children staying with us, we can plan some appropriate activities.   

     Please review and sign up where and how you can for the many and varied opportunities to volunteer your time and resources.  A coordinator will get back to you if there are any special instructions you will need.  Thank you for your support of this important outreach program.
