Thank you for volunteering for our Annual Coat Distribution. This year's event will be held for a full week during Pantry shopping hours at First United Methodist Church. Dates are October 12th-October 17th. Due to Covid-19 and necessary safety measures that need to be taken, only a few families will be permitted to shop at a time. We have also limited the amount of volunteers in order to not have a large number of people gathered together. If you would like someone to join you for your volunteer slot, you MUST ask in advance.
Masks and hand sanitizer will be required for all volunteers and shoppers. We are looking for volunteers to assist in being a shopping assistant, stocker, check in, check out, set up, tear down, and also helping designate families to be the next in the building.
Please sign up for times when you would be available to volunteer. Please be sure to click "sign-up" two times to confirm you have signed up.
All volunteers who help during the week will have close contact with families. We will complete basic Criminal and Sex Abuse Database checks. Regular pantry volunteers have these checks completed routinely.
Please arrive at First United Methodist Church under the overhang entrace for all scheduled shifts.
