Feed the Homeless
Sign up here to purchase the ingredients and make sandwiches for The Night Ministry, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing essential services to Chicago’s food insecure and transient population.
We have agreed to making 125 sandwiches each date listed below, and invite you to sign up here to make a minimum of 25 sandwiches. For those interested in a larger mitzvah project, perhaps as part of a b'nei mitzvah celebration or other family simcha, you may sign up to make as many as the full 125!
Each sandwich should consist of 2 slices of turkey + 1 slice of cheese on either white or wheat bread. No condiments. Please place each sandwich in a plastic sandwich bag.
Dave Rothschild will contact you the week before to coordinate delivery of the sandwiches. Please reach out to Dave (847.361.6112 or [email protected]) if you are interested in transporting all of the completed sandwiches to The Night Ministry (1735 North Ashland Avenue, Chicago, IL 60622).
Questions? Contact Dave Rothschild at (847) 361-6112 / [email protected] or Rabbi Daniels at [email protected].
