Food Pick up drivers
Room At The Inn participates in the Food Recovery Program through the Second Harvest Food Bank. We think it's great that we can use food that would otherwise we going to waste. For this program to work, we need to pick up food every week at the same time and without volunteers to help do this, it falls on paid staff to stop what they are doing and drive to go and pick it up.
We appreciate your help which allows us to participate in the awesome program.
Before signing up for any of the slots below, you must complete a one-time training session. This involves coming to the maternity home and having the food pick up procedure explained to you, and collecting your name badge which you will wear when you make the pick ups. This will take about 30 minutes.
