Come dig in our garden! Work on planting, weeding, mulching, and creative projects in the AMM community garden. We harvest ~2,000lbs of produce per year for our uninsured patients.
Please note: Voluneers under 18 must be accompanied by an adult. All volunteers must be at least 16 years old. Also, we have bee hives on site at the garden. The bees are very gentle and we have EpiPens on site.
What to bring: Please bring a REFILLABLE water bottle, closed toed shoes, and clothes you don't mind getting dirty.
Where to go: We will meet in the garden! We have a large parking lot located to the east of our facility off Donald Ross Drive. Our facility is housed in an old church building with a steeple. The garden is visible on the South-East corner of Donald Ross Drive and New Bern Avenue. 101 Donald Ross Drive, Raleigh, NC 27610.
