Bayside Community Hall
Hello. The community is invited to use a grinder and double barrel cider press provided by Tom & Carolyn Jones. They suggest a sliding scale donation of $10-$25 per hour which will go to the Bayside Community Hall.
The press is located at the Jones home at 2990 Jacoby Creek Road, Bayside. You will be able to drive your vehicle up to the press. Water is provided. Users must bring their own pressing bags (old pillowcases work) and containers, and must take away their apple waste. Either Tom or Carolyn will be available to greet you and show you the press, however, you must do the work yourself (that's the fun part!). Masks required.
If you have more apples than you need, please consider donating some to the Hall which will press cider for its next Brunch at the end of October.
