Hope House of Colorado
We are in need of your help and generosity as we continue to serve the teen moms who have been entrusted into our care at Hope House of Colorado. Our Residential House is home to up to six parenting teen moms (and their children). Throughout the week, these moms are working hard towards earn their GED, complete college classes, pursue careers, complete chores, learn parenting skills, and ultimately reach self-sufficiency.
On Sunday nights, our teen moms and their children gather together for a community meal. Our goal is to provide them with a delicious and healthy meal provided by the generosity of our volunteers. Providing meals for these young families helps create a safe community where they know they are loved and cared for. Would you consider partnering with us by providing a meal for the teen moms and their children living in our Residential House? The meals need to provide enough food for the girls, their children, and a few staff members who will be joining the girls. Please plan to cook for 12 people.
These dinners occur every Sunday at 5 p.m. Meals can be dropped off at the Residential House (6475 C Benton St. Arvada, CO) between 4:30 - 5 p.m. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact me at [email protected] Thank you so much for supporting Hope House; we truly cannot achieve our mission of empowering teen moms without incredible volunteers like you!
Other instructions: Please write in the comments what you plan to cook. This helps us avoid repeating meals week after week. Thank you!
