MLK Day 2019 Volunteer Opportunities

Sign up for on- and off-site volunteer opportunities and celebrate a "day on" instead of a "day off" this MLK Day, Monday, January 21.

The event will begin at 7:45 a.m. at Royal Oak High School with a light breakfast, followed by a program with keynote speaker Chuck Stokes, WXYZ editorial & public affairs director and talk show host, and inspirational performances from students. Admission is free with the donation of one or more items (see below). Beginning around 9 a.m. and following the morning program, various onsite and offsite volunteer opportunities are available for participants.

Transportation will be provided to Cass Community Services and Redford Brightmoor. Volunteers for all other local organizations must provide transportation themselves, or carpool.

See each volunteer option for more information.
