Grace Volunteers- all
Hello Journey Family,
As always, we pray this invite finds you and your families all healthy and doing well. A heartfelt thank you for all that you continue to do to make this a thriving and successful ministry. Our next opportunity to serve our community is on Wednesday, May 25th, from 4:30 to 6:20 pm. The process is the same as the last few months, but please be sure to read this entire message carefully in order to ensure a smooth process for those of you who wish to volunteer or drop off food. If you are volunteering for the first time, welcome! We look forward to serving with you. Our contact info is located below, feel free to contact me with any questions you may have.
We will be providing meals in to-go containers. If you have volunteered with us at Grace before, it is important to know that this changes the process a little.... we ask that you please bring food items to Grace Resources at 45134 Sierra Hwy, Lancaster, CA 93534 by 4:30 PM on the day of the event. For those of you who are planning on helping to serve the meal please plan to be there by 4:30 PM. At this time, Grace is only able to allow us to have 8 volunteers to help prep and serve the meal. You are asked to wear a face covering in order to help with preparing the food or when dropping off food items. Gloves and hair nets are provided on site. We use a contactless method to serve the meals that ensures the safety of our volunteers, as well as those from our community whom we serve the meals to.
If cost is ever an issue, the items can be bought and delivered to you for you to prepare (at no cost to you, or at a portion of the cost if you wish), or you can purchase items and turn in your receipt in order to be reimbursed. If you wish for items to be purchased and brought to you for you to cook, please email me. Every little bit helps to lighten the load.
Wishing you all a blessed and peace-filled Fall season!!
Thank you, in advance, for all for your giving hearts and willingness to serve!
Feel free to email us with any questions.
