Junior Achievement of Ashtabula County
Braden Middle School is switching to a JA in a Day format for it's JA programming. The date for both 7th and 8th grade JA in a Day will be on Feb. 26, 2020.
Junior Achievement of Ashtabula County (JA) is dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their futures, and make smart academic and economic choices. Junior Achievement's hands-on programs educate students in work readiness, entrepreneurship and financial literacy and ignite the spark in young people to experience and realize the opportunities and realities of work and life in the 21st century.
By volunteering for JA and teaching its programs, mentors can be in the classroom during work hours and share their experiences that inspire young people to pursue their dreams. Volunteers help bridge the gap between the subjects students are learning in school and the "real-world".
JA provides all program materials and training for the JA Economics for Success which is presented to 8th graders.
