Meadowbrook Elementary School
Hello Meadowbrook Families,
We are so excited to be able to host our Annual Harvest Festival again this year! As we have done in the past, we are asking for your support by volunteering and/or donating after reviewing the options below.
Date: Thursday, October 14th
NOTE: If it rains on the 14th we will need you for the rain date the following day on Friday, 10/15.
Set up time: 12:45pm-3:00pm
Time of Festival: 3:00pm-6:00pm
Location: Meadowbrook School (behind the school where pick up is done)
There are several options available below to help-out. A few things to keep in mind as you sign up to voluteer:
1. For Support Person/Runner-- WE MAY NEED SOMEONE WITH PICK UP TRUCK FOR MUMS and PUMPKINS.
2. Station Attendants: Shifts are 3pm-6pm we will try to offer 1 hour shifts (this however depends on the number of volunteers we have). Please be at your work location on time to relieve previous shift.
3. If you choose the 2:45pm shift, you can ask the teacher to walk your child to the station you are working at or you can have a friend grab your child at dismissal. Just be sure to send an email or note to the teacher.
In 2019, which was the last year we were able to hold this Festival it took approx. 60 people to run it, we will need this amount again this year. This ensures everyone can work it and still enjoy it as well with their kids. Please sign up to volunteer and encourage your friends to do the same! This is such a fun event the kids just LOVE it!
If you know a teenager that needs community service hours for confirmation or any other program, we can sign off on hours for them as well.
