Attend an ESL class at BUMC, engaging with students and assisting with English lessons on Rosetta Stone.
Reading Friend (15)
You will be going to Broadmoor Elementary to read to the Kindergarten classes!
Congregational Care (6)
Visit with seniors at Williamsburg Senior Living Community
Dinner Church for children (20)
Families will work together to make fun decorations for future Dinner Church events
Hand out goody bags to nursing home patients or Visit homebound church members
Dinner Church (7)
Cooking entrees together with Chef Blake Crawford in the gym kitchen for future Dinner Church events
Help neighbors with yard work, light home repairs, or painting. Please specify if you have a job preference in the "my comments" box.
Youth Project (12)
Youth working with St. Vincent De Paul,an organization helping the most underserved of our community. Project may include gardening or serving a meal.
Parker House Kids (6)
Spending time playing and making crafts with foster children and lunch outing
Southeast Ministries (16)
Fill bags with pantry staples and spices such as flour, sugar, salt and pepper. Greet clients and load bags into client vehicles.
Women Making A Difference (30)
Making mats for homeless persons, fidget quilts for nursing home patients, cards for veterans, and other crafts
O'Brien House (12step) (10)
Attend a presentation on the history of alcoholism in Baton Rouge given by John McGurk
