Suddenly in Command
This three hour course is geared to the "mate" (friend or family member) who may not have a lot of boating experience or confidence but needs to know what to do in an emergency on board. For details on the class, visit this website. Great class for the "skipper" as well! Bring the family. This course is free but please pre-register below.
About Boating Safely
The 8-hour classes offered on Saturdays and Sundays feature a program known as "About Boating Safely." This course qualifies all those who successfully complete it to get a Washington State Boater Education Card. It's open to ages 12 and up. The cost per person is $35 per person but we offer a discount for couples and families taking the class together and sharing a course book. If you would like to receive your course book ahead of time (which we highly recommend for students ages 12-18), you may mail us your course fee and we'll get your book to you! Otherwise please plan to pay your course fee by check or cash on the morning of the class. Checks may be made payable to "Flotilla 24". We generally send out class details about 7-10 days prior to the class date so please be sure to give us an email address that you check.
If you don't see a class below that meets your needs, please use this online search tool to find a class that's just right for you.
