St. Matthew's is providing meal service at Hilda Barg Homeless Prevention Shelter May 22 thru 28. The address is 14945 Jefferson Davis Highway, Woodbridge, Virginia 22191. Ph 703-792-8810
WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW:
- Please drop your food off - hot and ready to serve between 6:15-6:30.
- If you are going to be late please call in advance and let the staff know (703-792-8810).
- The staff will have a cart waiting for you at the door. Do not enter the building. The staff will take your food from you. If you are concerned about this procedure and wish to have food delivered please let them know.
ONLY ON TUESDAYS AND THURSDAYS: bring 1 lb lunch meat, 1 lb cheese OR homemade tuna or egg salad and 1 loaf of bread, Spagettios, and ramen noodles. The staff will make the sandwiches to order.
EVERY DAY: Please bring TWO gallons of milk and ONE gallon of orange juice or other breakfast juice for next day breakfast. If you would like to bring some fruit, fruit cups, pudding, breakfast sandwiches, frozen waffles, or hot pockets, etc. but just enough for your date that would be well received. ("just enough" because the center can easily become overwhelmed with food donations and then be concerned about wasting food).
