What: Building IKEA dressers for Home Sweet Home
Who: Builders, no experience necessary!
When: Saturday, Nov. 14 and Sunday, Nov. 15
Why: With the help of Kirkwood United Methodist, Home Sweet Home Furniture Bank can provide each child they serve with a dresser of their very own.
Please consider honoring the memory of someone you have lost or someone special in your life by building and/or donating a dresser. (Donations can be made via Realm or mailing in a check with "Dresser Build" in the memo. Each dresser is $40.) These IKEA dressers are very easy to construct; two people can build one in one hour. Will you help provide storage for the children of Home Sweet Home?
Special precautions will be taken to ensure the safety of all who choose to build. (Tables spaced throughout building, mandatory masks, health questionnaire, temperature checks, BYO tools)
The mission of Home Sweet Home is to give families transitioning from homelessness a sense of pride and to improve the quality of their lives by providing basic household furnishings. Building dressers...furnishing hope.
