The class is American Heart Association's Heart Saver CPR course
It is geared to the citizen,
not the Health Care provider.
The class covers CPR, A.E.D. (automated external defibrillator), and foreign airway obstruction (choking) for adults, children, and infants. Please dress comfortably.
DO NOT REGISTER FOR THIS CLASS IF YOU ARE A HEALTH CARE PROVIDER
(MD, RN, nursing/med student, LPN, CNA, etc)
CPR classes are held the 3rd Saturday of each month (except December) from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Station 17, 8157 Central Park Avenue.
Class size: Minimum 4 students, Maximum 15 students
Registration closes the Thursday before the class. Walk-ins not accepted. If the minimum isn't met, you will be notified via the email you registered with and the option to reschedule for another class.
Class fees are $40.00 NON-REFUNDABLE for residents and non-residents.
You will need to have an email address or access to an email account when registering.
After successfully completing the course you will receive a certification card good for two (2) years from the AHA. The AHA ([email protected]) will send you an email with a link, inviting you to claim your eCard online.
