Corks and Crush 2019

Thank you for your interest in volunteering for Corks & Crush 2019! We could not do this event without the help of volunteers like YOU. 

Corks & Crush 2019 will be held Saturday, May 18, 2019 at the Washington State Fairgrounds Event Center in Puyallup, WA.

Help the event team with tasks that include, but are not limited to cleaning and organizing wine glasses for tasting and filling swag bags. Physical requirements: Walking distances, sitting and standing for long periods, fine motor skills.

Check in/out volunteers, relieve volunteers for breaks, being readily available to support volunteers where needed. Requirements: Flexibility for changing plans at the last minute, friendly and customer service oriented.

Working with the registration team pulling bidder packets as the guests check in. Requirements: Attention to detail. Pivoting on your feet for entire shift.

Silent Auction Monitors/Receipt Runner (4)

Monitor silent auction area and assist with closing which includes kindly moving guests to a different area and assist with pack up of silent auction tables. Requirements: Frequent walking, lifting and able to carry up to 20 pounds. Customer Service.

Silent Auction Promoter

During the silent auction, track items that are not receiving multiple bids and report to the emcee so he/she may promote and hype-up item. Assist with the take down of silent auction tables. Requirements: Prior knowledge of large scale silent auctions.

As each item is sold, immediately take the bid sheets to the "bank" room for data entry. Requirements: Fast paced walking back and forth for the duration of the live auction portion of the program.
