Today, there are fabrics galore and a wide variety of patterns available on-line and at fabric stores to spark your creativity. Sewing is so much fun! And sewing with a group of friends is a great way to share what you’ve learned, build your sewing confidence, share sewing supplies, plus get lots of ideas for new projects. Crafting, sewing and making handmade gifts are more popular than ever!
Sewing 101 is a series of basic sewing classes for the beginner. The series will be on Tuesdays beginning February 12, for 7 weeks from 6:30–8pm. Class size is limited. Your registration is for the entire 7- week series. The series is free. The dates of the classes are: February 12, 19, 26, March 12, 19, 26, April 9. This class is for ages 16+.
The library will provide the supplies for the class with the exception of the fabric for the projects that will be made during the 3/26/19 and 4/9/19 classes. This way you can select the fabric you would like to use.
