United Way of Bucks County
Join United Way of Bucks County's signature hunger-fighting event on Friday, June 18th, 2021 and Saturday, June 19th, 2021.
Again this year, BKO steps it up providing everyone the opportunity to help ensure no one goes hungry in Bucks County! United Way of Bucks County will host five sites to collect donations of nonperishable food items that will provide support to hunger-relief sites throughout the community. Your help is needed more than ever before!
Adapting to allow for social distancing, organizers have arranged contact-free, drop off sites for food donations. Three sites will be available on Friday, June 18th, with another two sites available to accept donations on Saturday, June 19th. Our goal this year is to collect 30,000 pounds of non-perishable food, and raise funds that will support partner organizations to harvest and deliver fresh local produce to food-relief sites, to purchase dairy products and eggs, and to support Fresh connect, the free farmers market for families in need.
Note - Activities will involve participation outdoors, and physical activity including standing, lifting, and carrying donations, typically not weighing more than 30 lbs. Participating minors must be accompanied by a parent or gardian.
