T25P Thanksgiving 2019

Would you like to help the homeless this Thanksgiving? The 25th Project needs volunteers to help cook, prepare and pass out meals!  Our outreach grows every year and we need your help.

****New this year - In addition to our usual routes and buffet dinner at the Eleanor U. Kennedy Shelter (near Ft Belvoir) from 5:00pm - 6:00pm, we will be serving lunch at the Patricia Handy Place for Women in Washington DC. ****

Last year on Thanksgiving 275 volunteers plated and delivered 793 meals, prepared and served 100 meals at the Eleanor Kennedy Shelter and provided 200 meals to shelters in DC.  A grand total of 1093 meals were provided to our homeless friends in Prince William County, Fairfax County, and Washington DC.

Join us at Burke Community Church on Thanksgiving morning at 8:30AM to help prepare meals!

WE NEED DONATIONS OF ALL THE THANKSGIVING DAY FIXIN'S AND $$$. Turkey, ham, mashed potatoes, veggies, gravy, bread, pie, water, etc.

If you want to make a tax-deductible monetary donation online, please go to www.the25thproject.org and click the DONATE NOW button.

Can you help? Sign up now! REMEMBER, ALL FOOD MUST  BE DELIVERED AT 8 AM - HOT (OR AS WARM AS POSSIBLE) AND READY TO BE PLATED :)
