Our Volunteers Rock!!!
We offer an outstanding opportunity for individuals, school groups, and/or clubs. This is a special weekend to have fun with your family and friends!
If your School, Church organization or Club, has chosen to partner with The Highland Games Festival, they have encouraged you to volunteer. Your participation is vital to the success of this event. Therefore, in exchange for your valuable time and easy work, you will receive the following; valued at $30.00 or more for each shift you work:
- A complimentary ticket to the Games for Saturday or Sunday.
- A complimentary food voucher to enjoy a free lunch from one of our chosen food vendors.
- Plus, you will earn valuable volunteer hours with a Certificate of Participation that your school, church, or other organization requires as part of your membership in that group or club.
- Attention College Students: By working a minimum of 10 hours you will qualify for the opportunity to submit an application for one of our Arts or Academic Scholarships. These are awarded by The Scottish American Society of Central Florida every year to students just like you. If this is of interest, See *NOTE*. Forms are available at the bottom of this page.
*NOTE* Each time slot is only 4 hours; in order to qualify for our scholarship opportunity, you must sign up for at least 3-time slots. Remember, each time slot qualifies for a FREE Ticket and a Food Voucher. With the confirmation of your participation in three slots for this event, you will receive $90:00 worth in tickets and food.
You can choose to check-in early at our Volunteers Picnic on Sunday, Jan 12th! Located at Central Winds Park.
