Octoberfest Chairs (2)

Work with Harrolds as DWES point person for 10/2 event

Make copies for staff members in the DWES mailroom (1-2 hours per week)

Help Mrs. Art with photography, newsletter creation, etc...

Popcorn popper team member (2)

Help pop and pass popcorn out on the first Friday of each month.

Mom/Son Event Team Members (3)

Help the chairperson with set up, operation and clean up at Mom/Son Event. Planning to be done in 2021 and day of participation.

Scholastic Book Fair Chair

Coordinate and facilitate the book fair in the DWES Library

Half Days / Spirit Nights Committee

You will plan and attend spirit events at restaurants that will give the PTO a % of sales from the event, and create/copy/distribute event flyer(s). Will work under guidance of the Treasurer and Communications Board Member(s). 1-2hrs/mth remote + events..

Dad's Club Chairperson

Coordinate and help with projects around campus and events at school. Time commitment approx. 2 hrs/month

Will manage the Box Tops program, including set periodic incentives for Box Tops collections, fulfill incentives, count/mail box tops and manage online account on behalf of the PTO.Will work under guidance of the Treasurer. Approx 1hr/mth remote..

2021/2022 PTO Board President (2)

This is an Executive Board position. The President oversees the PTO calendar of events, committee chairs and volunteers; works closely with school administrators and coordinates resources to meet fundraising goals throughout the year.

2021/2022 PTO Board Vice President (2)

This is an Executive Board Position. The VP supports the duties of the President; manages PTO Memberships/directory; required to attend all PTO Meetings (2 per month) and events. Level of commitment is approx. 2-4 hours per week not including events.

2021/2022 PTO Board Secretary

This is an Executive Board Position. Required to attend all Executive and General PTO meetings (2/month), take minutes; attend all PTO events and other duties as assigned by the President. Level of commitment approx. 2 hrs/week not including events.

2021/22 PTO Board Treasurer

This is an Executive Board Position. Responsibility is to manage the funds for the PTO, attend all Executive and General PTO Meetings (2/month) and events. Level of commitment is approx. 2 hrs/week not including events.

2021/22 PTO Board Communications

This is an Executive Board Position in charge of overseeing communications for WAG, Newsletter, Website, Homeroom Coordinator and Social Media. Attend all PTO meetings (2/month) and events. Approx level of commitment is 2-3 hrs/week not including events.

DWES PTO Social Media

Responsible for Facebook/Instagram communications. Will work under guidance of the Communication board member(s). Approx level of effort is 2 hrs/mth remote.

DWES PTO Website - maintain Website with current/updated information

Responsible for managing the PTO Webpage. Will work under guidance of the Communication board member(s). Approx level of effort is 2-4hrs/mth remote.

Homeroom Coordinator and New Family Liason Chairperson

Coordinate and communicate regularly with the Homeroom Parent representatives. Welcome new families to the school. Will work under guidance of the Communication board member(s). Approx level of effort is 2-3hrs/mth remote.

Donations/Sponsorships Chairperson (2)

This position will solicit donations from large companies and local businesses on behalf of the PTO. Will work under guidance of the President and Treasurer. Approx level of effort is 5-10hrs/mth remote.

Staff Appreciation & Birthdays Chairperson

Organize and execute monthly appreciation events (including obtaining donations or purchasing items) and staff birthdays. Approx 2-3 hrs/mth remote and event.

Daddy / Daughter Night Chairperson

Coordinate set up, operation and clean up of the Daddy/Daughter Night. Planning to be done in 2021 and day of participation.

Coordinate set up, operation and break down of Penguin Patch store, where students can purchase holiday gifts for friends and family. (~12/06/21-12/10/21). Planning done Sept-Oct and week of participation.
