Eastern Carver County Summer Meals for Kids

Community organizations are working together to provide no cost food options for students and their families this summer. Without options for lunch programs through schools this summer due to the end of the federal program, many school-aged kids will be without meals while school is not in session.

But we cannot do this alone! We need your support.

How can you help?

  • Sign up below to volunteer at the "Pick-n-Pack" program

  • Donate financially here or find more details at

  • Donate kid-friendly food items by contacting Caitlin at 612-479-6409. Items most requested include: maseca, tortillas, brown beans (canned or dry), cereal, peanut butter, jelly, granola bars, snacks (Cheeze-its, Goldfish, etc.), juice boxes, pasta, pasta sauce, apples, cuties/clementines, tomatoes, cilantro, garlic, eggs, milk, peppers (hot or sweet), tomatillos, flour, sugar, Tajin, cumin, and chili powder.

In gratitude,

A Better Society, Bountiful Basket Food Shelf, Carver County Public Health, and Eastern Carver County School District.
